Witch Storm
Based on Anne Bishop’s Black Jewels Series, Witch Storm offers each a chance to stand before the Dark Altar and receive their Jewels, the representation of their inner strength.
The power is needed for while many do not see it, a Witch Storm is brewing in the living realms, one that could destroy all. 50, 000 years ago, a Black-Jewelled Black Widow Queen walked the living realms, she called herself the fabled Witch. But Lady Phoris was not Dreams Made Flesh, she was a monster with no understanding or care for the delicate balance that exists between the feminine and the masculine. Males were reduced to little more than slaves for female enjoyment.
Fearing what could become of them should they allow Lady Phoris into their Realm, the residents of Kaeleer did the unthinkable, they sent assassins through the Gates to kill the Priestesses who held the knowledge to pass safely through the Darkness and into the other realms. Lady Phoris also sought to control Gate travel, and sent assassins of her own through. Fate would deem that they choose the same time. In one fell swoop, knowledge of the fabled Gate travel was all but lost – only one alive still holds the key, and she’s very picky about using it.
Since Lady Phoris’ death, the times have shifted, as has power from the females to the males and back again. But still, things aren’t right, and Mother Night cries out for balance once more.
