When the elf told her about humans not understanding she nodded knowingly. They were afraid to find something different in their lives, something that poses no threat but they are not used to. So they shun them and discriminate because of that fear. To those being shunned away, it’s not so pleasant. “They are just afraid of the unknown or something different to what they like.” She said agreeing with Rana. Both of them had experienced it so it was not unusual that both of them agreed that being treated like a savage was uncalled for and unkind.
When he smiled she returned one, she liked his smile. It gave her the feeling that it could light up any sort of place, it was full of truth and kindness. “Fierce. So does that mean you are intimidated by a woman?” She said referring to him earlier identifying her as a woman and that she could not handle a bow. This was of course before she proved herself. “I am glad you think so.”Eva said when he told her that she was a nonsense kind of woman, it was true.
Rana told her that it wasn’t as great as she expected and it made her a little frustrated. Someone with such privilege in their home and to have that kind of support, how could someone not be happy with their life? Could he not see how lucky he was just to have some importance in this World. Eva had no one and she would wish for nothing to have a sister like his. Not even for his crown, to have a say in how your people live, it’s amazing. Trying to brush off the feeling of anger she smiled slightly. Some things just get under her skin and that happened to be one of them. “Why did she run away?” Again an ungrateful snob. His sister was running away from her duty, she could not see how lucky she was either. It was actually her who frustrated Eva more because she had made her brother track her. He was busy chasing her whilst he could be leading his people, or at least having a say.
Eva’s mood lightened when he asked her if she was a good tracker, smiling she got up from her spot. Walking over to where he had been before she scanned the grass. Having been chased and living out around these surroundings one begins to get quite good with these sorts of skills. Scanning the ground she looked down, seeing a print in the bush of a hoof Eva looked back up to Rana. “She is on horseback yes?” Eva said with a cute, knowing smile.

And do you ever feel like you're alone? And do you ever wish you'd be unknown? I could say that I have.. I could say that I have.. And do you ever feel things here aren't right? And do you ever feel the time slip by? I can say that I have.. And I can say that I have..
“They are just afraid of the unknown or something different to what they like.” The elf nodded, sighing quietly. Speaking of being shunned and hunted by humans was not often a comfortable thing for him to speak of. It bored him more than anything. He had to deal with it everyday, and it didn't make him happy at all to think about it.
“Fierce. So does that mean you are intimidated by a woman?” He laughed quietly, single brow raised. "I don't know about intimidated, but I do feel a bit.. matched." “I am glad you think so.” He nodded again, smiling softly.
“Why did she run away?” Arbellason frowned and shook his head. "She did not run away. She is merely on a goodwill trip." A hand reached up again to scratch at the dark stubble on his chin. He often wondered if he were really an elf, or whether he had been switched at birth with an elfing prince and he was truly human. Arbellason could not believe the latter because he and his sister were so alike, and no one in Aglar Arda doubted their blood. "To villages and cities where men do not trust elves or would like to see their heads on spikes jutting out from the city walls." The elf cringed at the mental image, but shook it away. "She would not have 'run away' if she were ruling, but our mother, as I assume you know, is queen and is taking care of everything else. I am quite useless so I set off to ensure her safety, although she is very capable of caring for herself."
Arbellason's gaze followed Eva as she stood and moved to the area where he had found and hidden some of Sakar's hair and some tracks. “She is on horseback yes?” His smile returned as soon as she had spoken. "Yes. I believe she is headed north to the city of Ethis." He ruffled his short hair as he stood, and moved to crouch near the tracks. His eyes widened for a moment as he spotted a separate set of hoofprints. " These are not Sakar's.." He mumbled, mostly to himself. "She is being followed, and not by friends I think." The elf whistled low, Óre trotting over to him. "Will you come with me?"

She laughed at him saying that he felt matched, it was good to hear. “Good to know that we are thinking alike.”Eva said a smile creeping back onto his face. “Although I can’t say that I have a title as impressive as yours.” Eva had the feeling he didn’t like being reminded about his title but she thought that once wouldn’t hurt. Also she doesn’t like being discriminated as a woman so she did know what he was going through in a sort of way.
“Oh ok.” So she had been wrong about the princess. “Yes I know many of them. I have visited some of the myself.” She said feeling slightly guilty that she had thought the princess had run away from duty. Whereas she had just gone on a trip to the other cities. Hearing Rana talk of how he was looking after his little sister it made her sad. It reminded her of John, her brother who she missed so much. Looking away she turned off slightly taking a breath before she turned back with a smile.
After she looked over the tracks she was about to say something about the second set of prints when he picked up on it himself. Eva heard his words and they mimicked the thoughts she was having in her head. Someone was following his sister. “I know.” She said running a hand through her hair and watching as Rana called for his horse that came quickly. Eva heard his question and ran over to Andolen. Swinging her leg over onto her horse she looked back at him and nodded. “Yes.”Willing her horse forward they took off at a gallop towards the town where she was being followed too. “We need to catch up.”Eva said turning back and having the wind blown onto her face and all her hair flying in the opposite direction.
{yeah. Well I was thinking that they could find the sister in the town right but she is being attacked by the guy who was following her? Maybe Eva and Arbellason could come to her rescue and get her out of it. Fighting off the people who were trying to attack her. During this fight maybe Eva gets injured or something, not badly but like cut badly on the arm or something. Anywhoo something along those lines maybe? Lol }

Papers in the roadside tell of suffering and grief Fear today forgot tomorrow beside the news of holy war and holy need Our's is just a little sorrowed talk, just blown away.
“Good to know that we are thinking alike.” Arbellason grinned, giving a half nod. “Although I can’t say that I have a title as impressive as yours.” His grin evaporated, and he grimaced. "Titles mean nothing Eva." He sighed, ruffling his hair as he examined the tracks again, pressing his fingers into the tracks. They were soft, and this brought a smile to his face.
“Oh ok.” He nodded absentmindedly, picking up some of the soil and rubbing it between his fingers, eyes closed. “Yes I know many of them. I have visited some of the myself.” Arbellason barely heard her words, his mind gone.
A man, hooded and cloaked all in dark colors, urged his horse on and on, striking the beast's flanks with a stick. “I know.” He looked up, eyes fixed on someone ahead of him, and he drew his sword. "Yes." Arbellason caught a glimpse of a lighter hued cloak flapping, and the dark brown of a horse's flank. “We need to catch up.”
Arbellason breathed heavily, opening his eyes. He was right behind Arlenwa.. Why didn't she just kill him? The elf grumbled, standing up abruptly. Eva's words had disrupted his 'vision', but it didn't matter much. He had only wanted to see who they were up against. He mounted his stallion, heeling him until he was ahead of Eva and her mount. "I think it is a wraith," he spoke loudly, his voice carrying over the pounding of horse hooves easily.
{Word Count: 241} {Notes: I think it'd be fun if it were a wraith. So they couldn't kill him ya know, but they would have to fight him off. But Eva can get hurt if you want xD Your character, not mine. I'll only have Arlenwa in there for a little bit because I have her in one and a half other threads =D}

Rana’s tone changed when she mentioned the title, he seemed to be more unhappy about it then she had expected. Smiling Eva just shook her head. “I know I was just joking with you.”Eva said with a warmly. She didn’t want to have offended him, though it was bound to happen if you weren’t happy with being royalty. Eva supposed it would get quite annoying people always just trying to be with you because of your title. In a way she was the complete opposite. Everyone in her town steered clear of her after what happened to her parents. People made up strange stories so Eva fled, she wanted something new and she found it.
Whilst talking Eva had noticed that he had gone to another place, like he was still there but something different. Knowing a lot about magic herself Eva presumed it was his powers. Some sort of gift that involved visions. Eva rode keeping the same pace, happy when Rana caught up. When she heard what he said about it being a wraith Eva nodded. “Not good.” She said steering her horse towards the village, now they needed to catch up even more. Wraith’s were not ones to go lightly on since they can’t be killed.
Getting to the village gate a lot of the villagers stared, not really caring she looked over to Rana wondering where to go to next. “Where are they?” She said looking straight into his eyes. For some reason she felt certain that he would know or that he had some basic idea of where they were.
{notes: Yeah lol i reckon that would be good too And yeah that's fine. She doesn't really have to play a big role anyways.} [/blockquote]

Papers in the roadside tell of suffering and grief Fear today forgot tomorrow beside the news of holy war and holy need Our's is just a little sorrowed talk, just blown away.
“I know I was just joking with you.” Arbellason shrugged, unsmiling. He never took anything regarding his title or rank as something funny, unless.. well, rarely ever. That was just him. “Not good.” "No," he agreed, "not good at all." He grimaced at the thought of a wraith after his sister. He knew Arlenwa could take care of herself, but he didn't think it was a good idea to be riding alone with one of them after her. She wouldn't stop at a village, he knew that, but they could possibly get information from the villagers.
The village was a smaller one, but it was on the way to Ethis. So, Arlenwa would surely be going this way. “Where are they?” Arbellason met her gaze for a moment, but turned his head away and pulled his windblown hood back over his head. Just a precaution. The elf couldn't recall ever visiting this village. Who knew if they were elf-friendly or not? "Not sure," he muttered.
Arbellason directed Óre over to an old, wiry man leading an run-down mare to a water trough. "Anything strange around-" The elf's head snapped to the right as hoofbeats approached, eyes locked on the approaching figures of a bay horse and a black. "Eva!" He shouted, hoping she would have noticed his call as he heeled Óre, the stallion galloping after the other two.
Trusting that Eva had followed, he caught up to the side of the wraith, sword drawn, knowing it wouldn't do much. It was the only means of protection he had. "Meldanya Arlenwa, aiya!" (My dear Arlenwa, hail/or hello) The black haired she-elf turned her head, the weariness evaporating from her dirt streaked face. "Gwanur nin," she whispered, relief thick in her light voice. (My brother)
The wraith pulled the reins back, his horse sliding to a stop, and pivoting to face Arbellason. Not expecting such a drastic motion from the creature, Óre reared to avoid being hit, hooves smashing down on the black's neck. Arbellason, despite his amazing elven balance, he flew backwards and to the ground. The wraith shrieked in fury at being distracted from his chase, and dropped from his horse, and over to the elf on the ground. Arbellason looked around wildly for his sword, the wraith raising his up to attack. Arlenwa lept from Sakar's back, striking the creature's sword away, his attention now on the she-elf.
Arlenwa and the wraith slashed and blocked each other, the she-elf never touched by the chipped, jagged blade. That is, until, the wraith kicked her to the ground, blade pushing against the soft flesh of her neck, threatening to spill her life-blood. "Eva, whatever your blasted power is, help her!" Arbellason shouted, held to the earth by some kind of dark magic or a paralyzing poison of the wraith's blade when it left a small cut across his shin. He couldn't see how bad it was, but it didn't matter. Arlenwa couldn't die. Not by the hands of a wraith.

When he didn’t laugh with her she just sighed. It seemed that being in this time she probably shouldn’t joke about such things. Well she hadn’t really been joking but she wasn’t trying to offend him. Hearing him agree with her about it being not good she just nodded. Eva felt like nothing else needed to be said to that, it was a mutual agreement that it was bad.
After arriving in the village she waited for his response, hearing that he was Not sure, she looked around. Seeing for any sign of movement. Eva was about to go in another direction when she heard the hooves coming towards them at speed. Turning quickly around to see who it was she saw them and knew it was who they were looking for. Already trailing about to go faster to catch up she heard Arbellason call her name. Chasing after all three she caught them quickly, although it was not long before she had to stop. Seeing the horses pivoting there was not much that Eva could do. Getting closer to them she saw the creature go after Arbellason. Jumping from her horses back she was in on the chase. Seeing the girl pick up the sword and start duelling with the wraith she knew she had to hurry.
Though when she was quite close the elf was on the ground with a sword pressed to her throat. About to attack she heard Arbellason’s voice and realised what he wanted her to do. Breathing deeply she nodded and raised her right hand. Thinking about the fire and warmth she placed it straight out in front of her, Eva’s palm facing the creature. Then she thought of the Wraith being alight. The wraith was alight and he panicked, backing off slightly he tried to put it out. Once he had backed well enough away from the girl elf on the ground she walked towards where it was.
Turning out her right hand from the side of her body she thought of the fire once again and it lit in her hand. Holding the fire in her right hand she was ready to throw it at the creature and she did. Wounding it she then leaned down and picked up the sword that was next to her on the ground. Now it was time for water, after the fire went out she saw a bucket of water sitting on the ground nearby. Eva could control water anytime but having it physically there first is easier. Controlling the water she pulled it out of the water in the shape of a serpent. Moving her hand around she controlled the water by thinking about it. Moving her hand she set it forward wrapping the water around its neck. Once the water was around its neck she tightened, making sure that the water didn’t lose its shape. Choking the wraith it only lasted a little before the water slipped her grip, it wasn’t killing it and she was growing tired of using her power on it. Charging at the beast it seemed out of breath, or at least weakened slightly. Attacking it straight on it still managed to block her moves, each move would reach the other.
“Arbellason it is weakened. Now we need to get rid of it.” She said whilst hitting the creature still, however not concentrating on the sword for a moment it saw an opportunity and attacked. Slashing her right shoulder, resulting in a wound on her arm, a deep one. Dropping she clutched her shoulder where the wound was, applying pressure to it. Then the wraiths sword was at her neck and she was knew she was in trouble.

Arlenwa lifted her head, fingers curling around her sword and gripping tightly. She jumped to her feet, running over to her brother, eyes searching him for any signs of a wound. "Avo 'osto, whatever it held over me is gone." Arbellason spoke calmly, rising to stand, picking up his sword from the earth near him. (Fear not)
Arbellason had missed Eva's work with fire, but as he turned his head he saw Eva working with water. So, her power wa similar to his sister's.. A coy smile flew across his lips. Arlenwa ran behind Eva as the other female fought the creature, and staring into the dark abyss where its face should be, she called the water from the air with her mind, eyes closing, lips moving as she mumbled something inaudible. Sharp daggers of ice flew at the beast's sides, sending it jumping back away from the other female, its sword flying from its hand.
The male elf dashed around Eva, and raised his sword, thrusting it into the darkened cloak of the wraith, its shrill screams echoing loudly in the world around them. It staggered, its dark horse sliding to a stop, the wraith swinging itself onto the equine. It reared, pivoted, and fled, its master looking back at the elves and the magic one, shrieking furiously.
Arbellason turned quickly to Eva, dropping down onto his knees on the ground next to her. "Eva," he murmured, frowning deeply. Arlenwa moved over beside them, knowing he had meant for her to come over also.. but to help. Arbellason pried her fingers off gently, his sister whispering quietly in the elvish tongue, a prayer of healing, and also using her power to control liquids. Blood was a liquid, and it was not something she particularly liked to control, but now.. to help his brother's companion, she was glad she had it. "This is a deep wound," she said, "I can not heal this all the way since it was a wraith." The she-elf had directed the statement mostly towards Arbellason.
Running her finger gently across the flaps of skin, the wound started to clot. Looking up to Arbellason, Arlenwa frowned. "I must go. You know how to care for her. The wraith will seek me out, and I will not draw it to you." Arbellason nodded, watching his twin leap onto her bay's broad back, and gallop away. Arbellason tore cloth from the bindings beneath his cloak that wrapped around the length of his arms, and wrapped it tightly around Eva's should and arm. "Are you alright?" He asked, shifting backwards while still crouching, eyes resting on her, a hand clasping the shallow wound on his shin. "We need to move before it returns, but I will not make you move if you can not."
