And do you ever feel like you're alone? And do you ever wish you'd be unknown? I could say that I have.. I could say that I have.. And do you ever feel things here aren't right? And do you ever feel the time slip by? I can say that I have.. And I can say that I have..
Arbellason urged his stallion on, the animal's gallop ever increasing. The elf's short sandy hair whipped back, the shorter strands in front blowing into his eyes as the horse was turned abruptly to the right in the direction of the tavern.
The elf had found the tracks of an un-shod horse of just the right size, and a few black hairs from a horse's mane. His sister had been here very recently.. about a day or so ago. Just by touching the hairs he could have known it was Arlenwa, thanks to his elvish magic of course. The male smirked, proud he was such a fine tracker even without it.
Still with the smirk upon his lips, he pulled the hood of his black, dust-coated cloak over his head more to sheild his face. "Daro Óre mellon nin." He muttered to the black equid, dismounting as Óre slid to a neat stop. The elf patted the horse's great neck, pulling his saddle off and handing it to a small stableboy who had just run to meet him. "Take good care of that for me." He grinned, sending Óre galloping off into the wild without him, and pressing several silver coins into the boy's hand.
The great wood door creaked in agony as Arbellason pushed it open, only a few men turning to look at him, but the elf's face was safe from the unwelcome stares so they returned to their drinks. If they had seen his face they would have known he was an elf, despite his shorter hair and stubble on his chin. How he had managed that? Who knew.
The tall male took a place in the corner, leaning back and putting both his feet on the table, the darkness of his cloak hiding him from the serving girl who had scurried over. "Sir?" She asked quietly, her loose, brown hair falling around her shoulders in waves, green eyes questioning. Arbellason smirked, looking up at the girl, his hood falling back slightly, but before she could look his pulled it back. No matter how much he felt like having a good fight, it was better not to let them see.. he couldn't handle every tavern patron on his own. "Sir?" She repeated, louder this time, as if she were getting annoyed.
"Oh, just here to enjoy myself." His white teeth glittered in the dim light. "Humpf." she walked away, carrying the empty tray at her hip. The elf leaned back again, crossing his arms, green-gray eyes watching the people slowly getting drunk, and having the tavernkeeper throw them out, but again coming in and having to be thrown out again. The ways of mortal's puzzled him. Why did they waste their short lives on drinking and women? There was more to life.. Glory in battle, traveling the world of Ander, starting a family, playing pranks, seeing the homeland of the elve's.
Home. He should probably return soon.. if only for a while. Arbellason had been gone several weeks already, and he was quite sure his mother would be worrying right about now. All her children roamed Ander freely, and not even Arlenwa wanted to remain in the city for long. His poor mother didn't have very good heirs, but one of them would take over none the less. He was sure it would not be him. After all, what would his people want a joker like him for? Sure he was a good fighter, but politics were absolutely not his strong point. Not at all... Nothing about it appealed to him.
Ah! His throughts were off track. He had to focous on what he had come here for. To track his twin. She was very good at hiding her tracks if she wanted, and what elf wasn't? She just didn't know she was being tracked.. What had he planned to do once he found her? Maybe he could jump down from a tree and spook Sakar? No, that was done too much. Plus, Sakar didn't spook much after being in so many battles. Evil horse. Spoiling his plans. The elf sighed, running a hand through his hair, and unluckily knocking his hood off. He had forgotten. Well, lucky for him he had pulled it back over his head quick enough that only the serving girl from earlier had seen. She would tell the tavernkeeper.. He was not a big elf person. There was no telling what he would do about him.
Smirk gone, he got off the chair, and pushed the tavern door open, whistling. Óre would be here soon. Hopefully. The stableboy walked over to him, proudly carring the saddle. Arbellason took it, checking the saddlebags to be sure he had everything. Nothing was missing. Apparently giving him the coins had been a good idea. Óre cantered lazily over, blowing loudly through his nostrils. The elf grinned, saddling him quickly. "Here," he spoke to the stableboy who was still watching, and gave him one more silver coin. The boy looked up smiling, the front of his neck now visible. Dark bruises covered his neck and shoulders.. even his arms.
Arbellason smiled sadly, "Go find somewhere else to spend your days." He gave the child several more coins, his expression stunned when the elf gave him them. "But sir-" "No. Shh." He smiled again, holding a finger to his lips before kicking Óre into a gallop. The blackened stallion slowed to a trot once deep in the forest, and soon stopped at his master's command.
The elf dropped down from the saddle easily, crouching next to a set of prints, leaf debris, and some more of the black hair. A mortal may have not been able to see it for it was hidden underneath a bush. Arbellason smirked, examing them, still in a crouching position, Óre snorting boredly from back on the path a few feet away.

Having been out of Anorith for a while now Eva was now used to her surroundings, confidentially knowing where she was going. Moving around all the time Eva didn’t really have a permanent residence so there was no where that one could track her too. Causing trouble in towns for people was what she had been doing; she was helping those who she thought deserved it and not giving to those she thought didn’t. After being attacked by a group of men she was on the run, they were following behind closely wanting to lock her away for what she had done. Which had been that she stole some apples from the market and handed them out to the starving children who sat on the side of the streets, planting a smile onto their thin and fragile faces. Now she was being chased for it and it didn’t worry Eva too much because she was used to getting out of those sorts of situations.
Running up to Andolen, her big Arabian cross boy she smiled. “Andolen I missed you.” She said kissing her horse neck. Grabbing mane she swung her leg around and mounted onto his back. Eva’s saddle was somewhere safe where no one would steal it and she would return for it later. Urging her horse to go he galloped off into the forest, not turning for at least the first ten minutes of her trip. Asking him to then slow he did so and she smiled, loving to ride her big horse when she needed too. With her bow and arrow on her back she sat on Andolen’s back whilst he trekked through the forest. Thinking it was far enough to take a break Eva was about to dismount when she heard noises of another horse coming their way. Leading Andolen behind a tree she waited for the to arrive, fearing that it was someone who had followed her there. Getting the arch of her back she assembled it to the ready. Climbing the tree so that she was on a height advantage and could see her opponent clearly. Pulling her purple hood of her cape over her head, which would look black in the dim light, she waited.
When the man arrived she stayed silent waiting for the chance to let him know that she was there and to tell her who he was. He crouched over on the ground and she stood on the branch she was standing on. Aiming the arrowing at him she spoke. “Stand up.” She said in a low voice that from the distance they were, the other would think she were a man. It was easier for people to fear her if they thought she was a man. “I would think carefully about your movements.” Eva said harshly, the arrow still aimed at him. She was a fantastic shot and would hit him if she wanted. “Now remove your hood and show your face.” It would reveal to her what race he was and then she could start to think about whether he was following her or just someone passing through the region. However either way Eva could not take the risk of assuming them to not be an enemy. When people found out she was a witch, they hunted her which was why she only used her powers in private. Or if her she was being attacked. [/blockquote]

And do you ever feel like you're alone? And do you ever wish you'd be unknown? I could say that I have.. I could say that I have.. And do you ever feel things here aren't right? And do you ever feel the time slip by? I can say that I have.. And I can say that I have..
The male elf smirked, burying the horse hairs in the soil beneath the bush. Why? Only Arbellason knows. “Stand up.” The elf's head tilted back slowly to peer into the trees around him. The voice had come from higher up.. so they must be... Ah! There they were. Lucky for Arbellason he was an elf, and so he had impeccable hearing. He identified the voice as female, though he couldn't figure out why it sounded so low and forced. A single brow raised and he stood. "Sîdh, baren bar lin." He spoke softly, still grinning, and stood to his full height. (Peace, my home is your home) He didn't think she would understand him, but frankly, he didn't really care.
“I would think carefully about your movements.” He suppressed the laughter that bubbled up from inside him, arms at his sides. “Now remove your hood and show your face.” Arbellason pulled back his hood, short, sandy locks falling about his face. "You would dare match your shot against that of an elf's?" He asked, barely able to contain his laughter. Quickly, he composed himself, and eyed the glinting tip of her arrow. "You might as well come down. I will not harm you, but my neck is beginning to hurt, and I do not think you can hold that arrow back all day."
Óre shifted, calmed by his master's lack of fear or anger. He had grown used to the elf's almost constant smiling, and even enjoyed it. It was better than having some stuck up human or elf riding him that always scowled or sneered. The stallion huffed, dark tail flicking boredly at his sides.
Arbellason ruffled his short hair, not caring if she dared to let the arrow fly towards him. He could easily deflect it before it had the chance of burying itself in his chest. His hand brushed the hilt of his sword, but he didn't take a hold on it, the hand merely returning to its place near his side. "And if you are looking to rob me, then go ahead and try. I think you will find it much harder than you expect." By her stance in the tree and her arrow he could tell she wasn't an elf, and therefore assumed she was human.
Great. A human. That was just what he needed. Maybe she wasn't like the other humans he had had the pleasure of meeting on his travels. Or maybe she was. Then he would just have to run or, to be blunt, kill her if she attacked. Or injure her. That was a good option if the second of the previous options happened. And if the first option of the second options happened- Arbellason stopped his mind there, finding all his planning quite distracting. Plus, it hadn't really made much real sense at all.

Seeing the man turn around and look up to where she stood she kept her stance. Hearing him speak to her in a different language she knew she had heard it someone but she didn’t want to concentrate on it at the moment, she was keeping her bow high and watching the guy closely. When he pulled back his hood and she could see his ears clearly and his sand locks she knew he was an elf. That was a good thing, it meant that he was most likely not following her and wasn’t really a threat to her. Hearing his next words she knew that he would be able to tell that she was a woman, he was an elf after all. He was laughing at her, great another arrogant man who didn’t think she could match them. Eva simply smiled and let the arrow fly, she aim it just to the right of his head, so that he would just feel the wind on his ear from the arrow. It flew exactly where she had wanted to as it always did, sticking into the tree behind him. “I guess so.” She said with a smile, now he would know that she was no beginner.
Hearing his next words she laughed. “I can hold this arrow back for as long I need too.” Eva said but she lowered it. The guy was not threat to her and she wasn’t about to attack him just because he was arrogant. Not that day, she really wasn’t in the mood. Plus she hadn’t realised that she had cut her leg when escaping. The man with the knife must have nicked her when she was getting away from him. However he did end up flat on his back, he must have got her just before she did that. Somersaulting down in front of him her hood flew off and her face was clearly in plain view. Eva’s beautiful long brown locks and brown eyes there for everyone to see.
Once she on the ground she chuckled. “Robbing you would be of no use to me.” she said with a smile. “You don’t really have anything I want.” Eva said, when she robbed people like him it would be for food. He wasn’t the rich snobbish type so she wouldn’t take anything from an innocent elf. Or so she thought he was anyway. “So what’s an elf like you doing in a forest like this?” Eva said walking over to Andole who had emerged from the bushes. Her horse nuzzled her and she patted him gently. Standing next to her horse she looked back at the elf. [/blockquote]

And do you ever feel like you're alone? And do you ever wish you'd be unknown? I could say that I have.. I could say that I have.. And do you ever feel things here aren't right? And do you ever feel the time slip by? I can say that I have.. And I can say that I have..
The wind from the arrow made his short hair flutter, and his smirk grew wider. “I guess so.” He laughed quietly, slightly amused. “I can hold this arrow back for as long I need too.” Thank the Valar she isn't one of the boring women around here. The elf watched her as she did her little somersault and moved over to a horse, obviously hers.
“Robbing you would be of no use to me.” Arbellason laughed. He doubted that. “You don’t really have anything I want.” And that. “So what’s an elf like you doing in a forest like this?" A quiet chuckle came from the male, and he whistled sharply for Óre who obliged happily. What kind of a question was that? "Well.. Elves generally dwell in forests. But myself in particular, I am... tracking someone." His smirk faded slightly. He had forgotten he was after his sister. I am probably behind now. He groaned, rubbing his palm into his forehead, and grasping Óre's reins in his other hand.
"What is a human like you doing in a forest alone?" Arbellason looked back up, and at the female. Usually, he never found human females wandering about the woods, but seeing females of his kin didn't surprise him in the least bit. His sister was like himself. A wanderer, but she cared for her people and that drew her home every once in a while.
"I do not often see lovely women, such as yourself, wandering about." It was probably because they were weak and afraid of the wonders the world held. How silly. All they had to do was find someone to teach them the ways of the bow or blade, and they would have a way to defend themself. Then again, not everyone could master such skills. The common thieves of each village were probably the only ones there who had any real potential to learn such things. Most of their people were destined to be hunters and farmers. Arbellason grimaced. How dull that must be.

Of course Eva knew that Elves dwelled in forests, that was a given. Luckily he gathered that she had meant him in particular. “Oh I suppose that makes sense then.” She said to the Elf. Wondering who he was tracking, it must be another Elf of someone important. He had looked very focused when she had first arrived. When the man asked what a human like her was doing in a forest like this she chuckled. Well at least he didn’t know she was a witch. “Who says I am human?” she said with a smile. Seeing that he wasn’t a threat to her and he was an Elf then she guessed he would be fine with knowing her true self. Though she would only tell him if he asked her. Earlier when he had spoke in elf language she had known what he said, now remembering what she had learnt. For a while Eva had lived with a elf and he had taught her the language, thinking that it would be a good thing to know.
Hearing him flatter her she laughed, he sure was male. “This woman isn’t afraid of the world. So she is going to see what it has to offer.” Eva said with a chuckle. “Besides, sitting inside all day. Doing nothing but washing and cleaning. I’m sorry but if that sounds appealing let me know.” She could never do that but also she had nowhere to live so it kind of destroyed that option. Which was good because she would never get tied down to household cleaning chores, it just wasn’t who she was.
That was when she heard the voices coming the way she had just come from. They had followed her this deep into the forest. It was bad because she was now stationary. From the sounds of their voices it would appear that there was only three of them, easy for Eva to take them out. “You might want to be on your way now.” She said moving over to Andolen preparing to mount him.

“Oh I suppose that makes sense then.” He shrugged, pushing stray locks of brown back out of his eyes roughly. “Who says I am human?” He raised a brow, smirk barely visible. "You look quite human to me. What else could you be?" True there were many races in Ander, but humans were the most common, then Dwarves and Elves, then a few minorities, and finally the rare and the random. Shape shifters, for example, weren't too common, but then again they weren't too rare either.
Arbellason shifted, jostling the reins in his hand. “This woman isn’t afraid of the world. So she is going to see what it has to offer.” His smirk grew back out of amusement. Definitely not like the boring, common women of most humans. “Besides, sitting inside all day. Doing nothing but washing and cleaning. I’m sorry but if that sounds appealing let me know.” The elf made a face. Cleaning. True, Arbellason liked having things tidy, but having to do it himself was not something he liked. Now, cleaning a deer or fish was more for him. It was strange to come across a woman who probably wasn't afraid to do the very same thing. "No, it sounds the very opposite of appealing."
“You might want to be on your way now.” Normally, Arbellason would have heard the voices before she did, but he had been so distracted.. caught up in the pleasant conversation. It wasn't something he could often indulge in, but this had been a good enough break from loneliness and near constant silence. Shaking his head, the elf mounted up onto his big stallion, any trace of smirk or smile on his lips replaced by a tight line. "I think not. Who follows you Ohtar?" (Warrior) If someone was after this lady to harm her, it was Arbellason's duty to protect her. Even if she could care for herself. If she was captured he could break her out, or if she was injured he could gather herbs and help her with a wound. Ha, he was pretty darn useful despite what he thought about himself.

Sure he asked her what she was and Eva decided in that moment whether or not to tell him. Eva wouldn’t tell him but then again she wasn’t going to go out of her way to make sure he knew either, she smiled. “True I look human. You will just have to keep guessing. You will find out soon enough.” Eva said with a wider smile. It wasn’t in her nature to be easy to figure out; she often liked to keep people guessing.
Nodding Eva was glad he agreed and wasn’t going to press the fact that it was what most women did. “Yes it is I am sure.” Eva said moving her hair to one side and letting it flow down her front. Her long hair curling at the ends. Watching him she could realise why he may not be recognised as an Elf at first, his hair wasn’t as long and he probably wore his hood all the time. Everyone around that area disliked elves so he was in just as much danger as her most of the time.
When he mounted his horse and asked her who followed her she shook her head, swinging up on Andolen she smiled. “Villagers. I may have stolen a mans fruit basket. Though I had my reasons. Judge me or not I am going either way.” Urging her horse forward she took off. Grabbing her bow and arrow she approached the men. Seeing the first out of the four she let it fly, striking him right in the chest. Causing him to fall off the back off his horse. That was one down. Keeping on moving forward she got to the next one, aiming for him she got too close and he got her off her horse. It was in that split moment of taking aim she had lost concentration. Landing on the floor she got back up. Now it was hand to hand combat. Blocking his moves easily she punched his face, getting close enough to grab his sword from it case. Drawing it to her opponent he chuckled. “You’re a mere women you don’t have it in you.” He said and she kicked him to the floor cutting his stomach and stabbing him. This was a man he had seen rape another woman, so he deserved no mercy from Eva. One came up behind her and she elbowed him, pulling out the sword from the other man and stabbing the sword backwards into the guy. Walking off she forgot about the fourth guy he came up behind her and begun to strangle Eva. [/blockquote]

“True I look human. You will just have to keep guessing. You will find out soon enough.” Good, she would be fun to figure out. If he had the chance to anyway. He wouldn't stalk the poor girl. How terrifying that would be! Then again, Arbellason knew how it felt to get chased by lust crazed people. Many villages in the freelands held nothing against Elves, but just as many that didn't, there were that many that were prejudice.
In those villages who embraced Elven travelers, there had been females all over Arbellason.. Sometimes being stunningly gorgeous wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Eventually, he had had to leave for fear of loosing his clothing to women who wanted.. souveneirs. “Yes it is I am sure.” "Very.. very... un-" He stopped himself. It wouldn't be kind to insult working women and mothers.
“Villagers. I may have stolen a mans fruit basket. Though I had my reasons. Judge me or not I am going either way.” He laughed, not caring that she had stolen. True, Arbellason wouldn't have done that, but she wasn't him and he wasn't her. They were two different individuals, and did things differently. The elf didn't have time to respond as her horse ran off, carrying her with.
The voices reached his ears again, and sounds of a struggle. "Noro lim Óre!" (Run on) The dark horse surged forth, his powerful hindquarters pushing him faster and faster until he collided with another horse without a rider. Arbellason lept down from the stallion's back. Drawing his sword the elf wasted no time, running the man through who was strangling the woman. His hold slowly lessened until he let go completely, Arbellason letting his quickly cooling body drop to the ground with a muffled thump. The riderless horses fleed, and he didn't stop them. Seeing horses with saddles and no riders would not be a strange sight. It was becoming common because of all the rogues killing helpless travelers and merchants, leaving their worthless beasts to the wild.
"Are you well Ohtar?" (Warrior) He steadied her until she could stand on her own. Turning slightly he wiped the blade in the grass, and slid it back into its sheath.

Eva didn’t give him a chance to respond, she did what she always did, went into fight. Taking down all three was pretty much effortless for her but she had not had enough time to get the fourth one. His grip around her neck was tight and she was struggling, getting an elbow into his rib cage she was running out of breath. Although his grip loosened after her new acquaintance attacked him and finished off the job. The dead man dropped to the ground and she had to regain her breath, finding it hard to breath because of the previous force that had been blocking her airways. Going to drop to her knees she was instead supported, the elf was supporting her and she laughed. Regaining her breath she stood up slowly.
“Yes. Thank you.” She said with a smile. He had really helped her then and she did appreciate it. Looking up to behind his shoulder she saw a fifth rider, the last obviously. The man was a fair way away but she could get him. Pulling out her bow and arrow she aim at the mans chest, not many people would make this shot. Eva shot the arrow and it went straight through his heart and the man fell.
Looking to the elf she placed her bow and arrow back onto her back and picked up the sword she had used. Seeing that it was worthless she placed it back onto the ground. Walking past the elf and the bodies she went over to Alden and patted him gently. Turning to the elf she smiled. “Eva.” She said placing out her hand in front of her.

“Yes. Thank you.” His face muscles relaxed for a moment before pulling out into a wide smile. He watched her take up her bow, pull the arrow back, and let it fly, killing the man. Arbellason nodded, head slowly turning back to her. "Not bad." He smirked, brows raised in approval. It was not often that another being that was not of Elven kind could have the skill of an elf in archery. Especially a woman that was not an elf. That was very strange indeed.
“Eva.” He took the outstretched hand, shaking gently, but grip firm. "Arbellason," he said smiling, hoping she wouldn't recognize what that name carried with it. The silly title and responsibility. The chance at a crown. He grimaced visibly, and not quite knowing it himself. A smile won over on his face, the elf crossed his arms, and studied her. "So, Eva, you are not a human, and yet, you are not an elf." One of his hands reached from the crossing, scratching the stubble on his chin. "Any magical abilities?" Heck, if he wanted he could touch her bow and whenever she had it with her, which he assumed was almost all the time, he could see what had happened during those times.
Stratching hand returned into the cross of his arms, weight shifted from one leg to the other. How strange it was to come upon a woman like her. He couldn't get over how she had the beauty of an Elven woman, but she still looked so different.. so foreign and very rare. Unbeknownst to him, he let the brilliant smile that charmed so many woman fly across his lips. He didn't expect charm to work on a lady such as herself, but he couldn't help himself.

After she had let the shot fly and put her bow and arrow away she turned to see the smirk on his face. “Thank you.” She said smiling back at him. Eva knew she was good and to be told it by an elf was a big compliment. They were the best archers and it to be told that you had talent by one of them was a big achievement. However Eva just kept moving on with what she was doing.
Once her hand was outstretched her returned the gesture and placed his strong hand into hers, the shake was firm and meant. “A pleasure to meet you Arbellason.” Hearing his name she knew exactly who he was. Having lived with another elf long enough she knew all about the Royal family. Feeling obliged she curtsied to the man, bowing her head. A smile on her face as she did so trying not to laugh.
Watching him cross his arms in front of his chest and question her she smiled. “True.” Eva nodded, teasing him slightly by not giving away any hints. “Maybe.” Eva said with a small smile. He was getting closer to what she was. “Ok yes magical abilities.” She said, she wasn’t going to make it too hard for him. Witches were very rare so it would already take him that long to guess without her being evasive and not giving half answers.
Looking at him she saw his smile come onto his lips, it made his face even more attractive. Being an elf generally meant that one was beautiful but he was very handsome. Returning a dazzling smile of her own she walked past him she went over to a nearby tree and took a seat. She ran a hand through her brown hair that was tied up, Eva untied it and letting it flop down onto her shoulders. Walking past him she went over to a nearby tree and took a seat. Looking down at the knife wound she had sustained earlier Eva sighed. It was only little but annoying. Her gaze returned to Arbellason. “So anything shorter for Arbellason?” She said with a cute smile.

“Thank you.” The elf merely nodded, smiling still. “A pleasure to meet you Arbellason.” Arbellason's smile faltered for a moment as she curtsied, and whether it was joking or not, he didn't like to be shown that kind of respect. None of which he even deserved. Forcing the smile back onto his face, he watched her with keen eyes.
“True.” The curve of his lips turned down ever so slightly. She would be hard to get clues from. Even if she didn't think she would, he would get her. “Maybe.” His smirk grew back on his lips, one brow raised, arms still crossed. “Ok yes magical abilities.” "Interesting," he mumbled, studying her. Finally, he uncrossed his arms, and shifted. "I would very much like to see, but I am sure I will end up seeing sometime." He turned as she walked past him and sat down next to a tree, his eyes overrun with curiousity.
“So anything shorter for Arbellason?” At this, the elf laughed, and not too quietly, but not too loud either. He had expected this question to come up sometime in his travels, but he was often disappointed that the elf-hugging mortals would only call him his full name. Whether it was out of respect or insanity, he never questioned it and merely left that particular town quickly. It wasn't like he had meant to let them know he was an elf. That little secret seemed to always slip out somehow. He had thought shorter hair would be the key to escape from his title and possible throne.
"Ah, I know of nothing shorter for my name." Except for 'Ar', but that also meant 'royal', and he didn't want anyone to be reminded of that when saying his name. "You may just call me Rana." (Wanderer (rah-nah)) He scratched his chin, glancing at Óre who was watching the other equine with slightly unfriendly eyes. "Sîdh," he spoke softly to the dark hued stallion. Arbellason moved closer to Eva, smiling until he looked at her wound. It wasn't anything too serious, but it wasn't that great either. Keeping his distance he asked, "What happened there?" Arbellason motioned to the wound, brows furrowed. Of course he could probably touch the blood and find out, but.. that might not even work on her since he did not know her race.

“Some would say.” When he said it was interesting that she had abilities. Others would frown upon it and say it unnatural. Though seeing that he was an elf she doubted he would have such point of views, for the fact that he was a magical being himself. “Most likely. I seem to have people chasing me a fair lot. I figure if they find out what I am and hunt me, why not use it against them. They already know anyway.”Eva said with a laugh. If only the creature knew how many did chase her and hunt her. All because she was different to them, something unfamiliar that they feared and wanted to disappear.
A little laugh escaped when he said he knew nothing shorter for his name that would be hard to have to carry such a mouthful all the time. When he mentioned Rana she smiled, it was cute and short, Eva also happened to know that in the elven language it meant wanderer. “Rana. I like it.” She said with a cute smile. Looking to the trees she wondered how it would be to live like he did as Elf royalty. Not an easy thing she suspected.
A smile was on her lips until she saw Rana look at her wound, shaking her head she blew it off. “Nothing, I just got scratched in combat earlier. You should see the guy who did it. He was definitely sorry.” Eva said moving her legs away slightly. It was on the top of her thigh so to hide it she slightly leaned to the right; however she knew the elf would be more inclined to do something about it.
Trying to change the subject she looked back to the Elf and smiled curiously. “So what’s it like being royalty? And who are you looking for?” She said thinking of the second half of the question half way through her first one.

And do you ever feel like you're alone? And do you ever wish you'd be unknown? I could say that I have.. I could say that I have.. And do you ever feel things here aren't right? And do you ever feel the time slip by? I can say that I have.. And I can say that I have..
“Some would say. Most likely. I seem to have people chasing me a fair lot. I figure if they find out what I am and hunt me, why not use it against them. They already know anyway.” Arbellason laughed quietly. It wasn't funny in the least bit.. getting chased that is, but he often found himself in the same situation. "We share that in common Eva." Elves were not often accepted into places where humans ran things. Even some forests weren't safe from predjudice. "It is only the way of humans. They find something or someone they do not like, and seek to destroy it." He sighed, smile giving way to a tight line of stress. "I suppose it is more of an annoyance than a threat."
“Rana. I like it.” A small smile crept across his lips, his hands reaching out to grab his cloak and gather it around himself. “Nothing, I just got scratched in combat earlier. You should see the guy who did it. He was definitely sorry.” The elf laughed at this. "I am sure he was. You are quite fierce. A no nonsense kind of woman."
“So what’s it like being royalty? And who are you looking for?" A frown replaced the almost constant smile, and he looked away. "Not as great as you would expect." He paused at her second question, stroking Óre's muzzle as he poked his great head over the elf's left shoulder. "I am tracking my sister.." He nearly laughed at the oddity of it. "In fact, I believe I need to be going if I am to catch her in time." The frown lifted into a curve, the smile sly and cocky. "Are you any good at tracking Eva?"
