In the middle of Chicago, there’s a war going on. A battle that has been raging for over thousands of years. One that only a handful of humans know about.
The vampires have taken sides, those who feed of humans only to drink what they need, known as drinkers, and those who drink to kill, known as drainers. Who were once friends, lovers, family, now immortal enemies.
What’s worse is drainers have captured white witches, forcing them to do spells a white witch would not normally do, making them dabble in black magic, making them succumb to the dark forces of the gods and goddesses of the underworld. Turning them evil, some of the dark witches were working for the drainers to begin with, some already turn back to white magic, but is it worth it?
Now that the war rages on the vampires have dragged more and more innocent people into the battle. Many magical creatures are in no way of stopping them. And the humans are only a snack to vampires. The hunters are dangerously low in numbers and some don’t have the strength or knowledge or understanding of the creatures
