"I'm Alize. Nice to meet you, considering the circumstances." His gaze moved to another human, a small frown on his face. "I'm Aranion." He crossed his arms, glancing at the elf who was putting her sword in its sheath for a moment.
Arlenwa dragged one of the men's bodies to the side of the rode, piling the corpses ontop of each other. "We should get moving. I need to burn the bodies and there will be more of them after us. I fear if we don't move quickly enough we will be ambushed. They know we're here now." Aranion studied Alize, smiling slightly before mounting a dark chestnut gelding.
The she-elf mounted Sakar who eyed the chestnut for a moment before trotting over to the pile of bodies, Arlenwa dropped a piece of flaming piece of wood where she had poured a flame-catching oil over them. Sakar lept sideways at the small burst of flames, not out of fright.. after all he was a trained war horse, this was merely out of fun. Aranion's horse however spooked, and galloped off down the rugged road. Instead of flailing and screaming he was laughing. Arlenwa grinned turning to Alize, "Hurry!" Sakar surged forward after Aranion and the chestnut without a command from his elf.

Alize turned her head from the captive man, who's name she learnt just seconds later, to rub the horse again. She heard Arlenwa speak and Alize sighed. She turned her head slightly to watch Aranion mount another horse, and then the elf mounted her Sakar. Alize turned back and gathered up the reigns, she heard the burning and cackling of the wood which was then dropped onto the bodies. She mounted quickly and the horse spooked slightly at the mix of her weight, the smell of burning and the sight of the chestnut gelding galloping off. The horse she was on, the grey mare with white diamond on her forehead and a slightly black mane, gave chase, making Alize jump with fright and scream slightly. As the mare began to gallop, and Alize got more comfortable with riding once more, she laughed instead of screamed. She remembered Arlenwa's last word. 'Hurry!' She spurred on the horse and soon caught a glimpse of Arlenwa and Aranion.

Aranion tried to pull the horse to a stop, but it merely sped up, twisting through trees and leaping over fallen trees. He turned slightly, bouncing wildly in the saddle, his eyes searching for the females who had 'rescued' him. As far as Aranion was concerned, he could've fought them off himself when he was unbound. Even if that was going to be when he was working as a slave in Battonia.
Arlenwa leaned forward in the saddle, ducking to avoid branches that would have knocked her off otherwise. Sakar galloped alongside the chestnut, breathing evenly. "Daro!" (Stop) She called out to the gelding, Aranion grinning helplessly from the saddle. "Estelio nin!" (Trust me) The chesnut slowed as Sakar did, eventually stopping. Arlenwa turned the bay stallion around, smiling as Alize stopped near them.
The human ran a hand through his sandy hair, ruffling it a bit before he pulled it away. The chestnut beneath him snorted, chomping at the bit, a light sheen of sweat covering his darkened coat. "So.. Elf. Human. Some horses. And a couple dead men back there." His words might've seemed random and a little odd, but he was trying to re-think everything that had happened over the course of around fifteen minutes.
"Yes, and there will be two dead humans and an elf if we don't find somewhere to take shelter." Arlenwa glanced between the two humans, breathing calmly. "Unless you two would rather we all split up and go our seperate ways."
"I have no idea where I am, and I don't think getting lost is that smart for me now.." Aranion looked over at Alize, feeling comfortable he was in the company of another human and not two elves.

Alize shrugged, she didn't know what to do. She thought for a second then remembered. She delved into her bag, which hung loosly from her side, and grabbed the map. She looked at it carefully and sighed. I can't tell where we are... she said, hopelessly. She looked at Arlenwa and motioned the map towards her, wishing she would take it. Alize felt Aranion's eyes on her, yet she daren't not look at him. She only gave the map to the elf and fluttered her eyelashes at the horse. She took off the bag and quickly shoved it into a saddle bag. She looked up at the sky and the mare she was on snorted. She looked down and smiled. She ran her hand down the mares neck and sighed. What shall I call you, beauty? she said, mostly talking to herself.

"I can't tell where we are..." The elf frowned, taking the map from Alize. She studied it, not really paying attention to detail. After all, she knew many of the forests quite well, although this one's layout did seem to puzzle her slightly. "We must be somewhere in this area," she gestured with her index finger, circling an area on the map, Aranion looking over at the parchment as well.
"No," he disagreed, "We are here." He pointed, leaning over to her in the saddle. Arlenwa looked at him with raised brows, but looked at her surroundings and the map once more. "I suppose you are right." Aranion sat back in the saddle, a small, smug grin on his face. He had been correct where and elf had been wrong, and it seemed to please him, but he held most of his feeling hidden behind a mask of indifference.
"What shall I call you, beauty?" Alize's voice was quiet, but Arlenwa heard despite her concentration on the map. "There is a village about one or two miles northwest from here. I suppose we could take some sort of shelter there for the night." "Maybe there is a good tavern.." Aranion noted offhand, kicking his horse into a brisk trot. Arlenwa made a face. Taverns were not her favorite places.. Perhaps she could sleep outside... "Lelya Sakar." (Go) The bay responded, the elf on top of him turning to see if Alize was following. Sakar trotted, long tail trailing like a banner behind him.

Alize pondered for a moment, yet when she looked up she rolled her eyes. Men. Always addicted to taverns. She watched Aranion trot off, closely followed by Arlenwa. She ran her hand down the horses neck and sighed. She dug her heel lightly into the mare's side and she jumped forward, into a trot. Alize smiled, and watched the elf. As she caught up to Arlenwa, clicked her tongue, trying to grab her attention. Hey, what do you think is up with him? Does he really expect us to go into a tavern? she said, in a whisper. She felt the reigns in her hand do funny, as the mares head turned to look at Sakar. Alize rattled her brain for a good name, a unique name, but one didn't surface. She sighed again and watched the male in front.

"Hey, what do you think is up with him? Does he really expect us to go into a tavern?" Arlenwa nodded, looking at Alize for a moment, then returned her gaze to the path coming towards her. "I am assuming so, but if I do not like the look of the tavern I will not be staying inside." Sakar bobbed his head up and down a few times, as though agreeing with his mistress.
The small buildings of a village came into sight just above the treeline as the trio made their way up to the top of a large hill. Aranion rubbed his chin in thought, biting his lip. "Hey, Ar-" He paused, unsure of what the elf's name was. He remembered her saying, but couldn't remember. "Arlenwa," she offered calmly. "Mhm.. do you have any money on you?" The elf sighed, giving Alize a look. "I think I will be sleeping outside tonight." Her voice whispered in Alize's direction. "Yes, here." She gave him several coins, staring coldly. Already the selfishness of mortal's was beginning to gnaw at her.
The horses picked their way down the rocky hillside until they trotted into the dirt streets of the village. People stared, their eyes lingering on the elf, confusion in their eyes. In some, hate. The elf didn' show anything on her face for fear of one of them gaining enough courage to attack her. Aranion stopped the dark chesnut gelding, dismounted, and handed the reins to a stableboy who promptly led him away. The male wasted no time and walked into the tavern.
Arlenwa sighed, dismounting, but shooing away the stableboy who came to her. "I will care for him." The elf removed his saddle, and led him into a small pasture full of thickly leaved trees. She placed the saddle near a tree, and sat down with her back against it. The elf waited for Alize to join either Aranion or herself.

Alize watched the pair of opposites. She watched Aranion stumble into the bar and not care for them, then turned her head to watch Arlenwa settle under a tree. She stayed saddled and walked over to the tree. The gray mare watched the elf's own horse and nibbled on her bit. Alize looked down at Arlwena and smiled. Do you need anything? she asked, with a kind voice. She jumped down of her mare slowly and patted her neck. The mare ran forward slightly, yet Alize grabbed her and brought her back. Silly mare. I have no idea what to call you but you give me the runaround. she said, jokingly. She took off the mares saddle and reins. The mare took off instantly and joined Sakar. Alize laughed and looked at Arlenwa, then at the tavern. I'll go in after him, in a moment. But here... she delved into her bag and took out a few coins, I shall repay you for him, I have a feeling he won't. She placed the coins near the elf and went towards the tavern. She opened the door slightly, and the smell hit her quicker than ever before. She walked in slowly and suddenly, all male eyes were on her. She spotted Aranion at the bar and silently walked over to him. She leant next to him and sighed. You should be more grateful. To Arlenwa.

"Do you need anything?" The elf shook her head smiling. "Silly mare. I have no idea what to call you but you give me the runaround." Arlenwa sighed, watching the horses running around together, Sakar bucking wildly, and whinnying. He's such a show off.. The elf thought, grinning, hands brushing the tops of the blades of grass.
"I'll go in after him, in a moment. But here..." Instantly, her brows furrowed, and she was ready to protest. Instead she shut her mouth. She would just have to sneak them back in her bag later. "I shall repay you for him, I have a feeling he won't." The soft blue eyes of the elf returned to the frolicking horses.
Aranion already had a drink in his hand, slowly downing it. To make it last.. "Who knew when he would have the chance to have another? You should be more grateful. To Arlenwa." The female voice startled him, but he quickly composed himself, glaring at a few men looking in her direction. Sure he could be rude and selfish, but they didn't need to look at a woman with such lust in their eyes. "Who said I wasn't?" He asked, his voice rough and tired. He took another drink, staring across the bar in silence as he did so. "You know, I've been through too much to care anyway," he grumbled. "She's probably loaded anyway. Did you see the clothes she was wearing?" He turned to her, excitement filling him, but he kept his voice low.
"They were fine. Not just common elf fine.. I mean like royal blooded elf fine clothes. And these coins," he moved one of his hands to reveal five delicate silver coins, "Elven of course, but she has a lot more. Saw 'em in her saddlebag." He ran a hand through his hair, thinking. "I wouldn't take them of course, but.. I've just been thinking. I've always wanted to see that city of Aglar Arda. Don't you think that'd be fine?" He sighed in wonder, hand cupping his chin. Aranion shoved the coins into a small bag attached to the belt around his waist. "If she is royal, then maybe we could even see the palace.."
A rough looking man turned his head quickly in Alize and Aranion's direction, eyes glowing greedily. "Erm.. Perhaps I should calm down... No more ale for me," he muttered the latter quietly and unhappily. The man continued to stare, only looking away when Aranion looked over.

Alize listened disgustingly to the drunken fool. She watched him with intent eyes, and shrugged. So... She's well dressed and has posh coins. She watched him down another drink and then he spoke, about giving it up. She laughed silently to herself. She looked round, following Aranion's eyeline to the man who stared at them. She eyed him and smiled. She turned back to Aranion and ran her hand through her hair to move it out the way. Aranion, you have been through alot. Maybe you should rest. she said, with flick of her hand to her dress. She felt someone brush against her back and she turned to see a group of men laughing, she eyed them and then turned back. Arlenwa is sleeping outside with the horses. It was her choice, now make yours. she said abruptly. She turned her back to the bar and crossed her arms. She watched the men with slight disgust. Most were drunk and oggled her, many did it slyly and stared in her direction yet not directly at her. She rolled her eyes and watched Aranion.

"So... She's well dressed and has posh coins." He frowned, shaking his head. "No no! And her sword. Had designs of the royal house.. thing... Whatever, she has to be!" The dizzyness began to settle over him and he sighed. The only reason Aranion knew any of that was because.. well, he wouldn't think it, but maybe it would slip out of his drunken mouth. That wouldn't be good.
"Aranion, you have been through alot. Maybe you should rest." The male scratched at a bruise on his neck, thinking. "Arlenwa is sleeping outside with the horses. It was her choice, now make yours." "Is she now?" His hand moved to scratch at the stubble on his chin. Boy, did he need a shave. Well, he didn't think so, but some women didn't like it scratching- He stopped thinking at that. "Perhaps we should all sleep out there. More protection," he glared at the men near Alize, "in a group of three. Plus, she's skilled with the blade and bow. So if we're troubled she could kill them."
"And I'm pretty good too.." He stood, leaving his ale on the counter. Something that was hard for him to do. It wasn't the greatest stuff, but being drunk made it a heck of a lot better. "Let's go find her." He staggered for a moment, but steadied himself, and walked out of the tavern once Alize started to follow. If she did. Hopefully. Aranion didn't want her near the other drunks. What made him any safer? Who knew.. Probably Arlenwa knew who he was and how to find him, so if he gave either of them any trouble she could beat him to a bloody pulp.

Alize doubted his last comment. How could he be could with a sword when he would be passed out from drinking. She watched him stumble and compose himself and walk normally out the door. She pushed herself off the bar and began walking towards the door. The guy that had been staring at them before crossed her path, by placing his arm across the door blocking her exit. His breath stank of ale and his eyes were slightly glazed. Alize recoiled slightly and took a step back. The guy glared at her lustily and she showed her disgust with a noise which sprang from her throat, which sounded like she was about to be sick. The guy ignored it and leaned closer, whispering in her air drunkenly. She only heard slight bits, like 'bedroom' and 'you and me'. She recoiled again, slapped him and stormed out the tavern, following Aranion quickly. She caught with him and stared up at him. She looked round and sighed. He hadn't followed them.

Aranion grinned stupidly when he heard a slap, and since Alize wasn't coming yet, it had to be her. Hadn't he seen some drunk man staring? His hazy mind couldn't remember. Silly man. Drinking ale whenever he got the chance..
When Alize caught up, his grin quickly disappeared, and he walked as steadily as he could to where the horses and the elf were. Arlenwa raised her head from Alize's bag when she first heard Aranion's clumsy steps, and laid herself innocently against a tree. She had slipped the coins she had given to her back. Hopefully she wouldn't notice. "Drunk already?" she called out to Aranion who merely grinned. "Thought so."
Aranion fell to the ground some distance away from Arlenwa, staring. The elf raised a brow, and looked to Alize. "I see it did not take him very long to get drunk." She looked away, removing her sword from around her waist, and laying it in the grass next to her. "I am assuming the tavern patrons were not good company." Arlenwa's gaze moved to the horses, Sakar still prancing around and showing off. Eventually he decided to stop, settling for a good graze instead.

Alize shook her head, all the while her eyes were on Aranion. She crossed her arms and looked round again at the tavern. I think he got too drunk. He seems to think your royalty. she scoffed. She sat down slowly and pulled over her bag, pulling out a blanket. She felt it and sighed. It's softness reminded her of her bed that her mother had given her when she was younger. She looked round again and thought about giving it to the drunk. She decided against it and sat next to Arlenwa, wrapping the blanket around herself. She watched the horses. The gray mare, still un-named, followed Sakar and grazed peacefully. Alize racked her brain one more time and clicked with a name. She turned to Arlenwa and smiled. What do you think of 'Chastity' as her name? she said, happily.

"I think he got too drunk. He seems to think you're royalty." Arlenwa kept her expression calm, saving the slight shock for her mind. Her head slowly turned to Aranion who was laying back in the grass, singing not so quietly to himself. "What made you think that Aranion?" He didn't bother sitting up, merely laughing. "It is a little obvious." "Really, how so?" "Emblem." She grimaced, feeling Sakar's saddle next to her, the bumpy lines of the symbol of her family.
"Stop being ridiculous." She shook her head, seemingly irritated with his 'ridiculous' behavior, but inside worry building in her. He was a mortal, who knew what he could reveal and what troulbe he could cause if he didn't believe her facade. "So, I believe we can make it to the city of Ethis before nightfall if we leave early tomorrow." Arlenwa explained, smoothing a map she had taken out from her pack, the detail of it amazing in itself. They would all be hunted now, and Arlenwa would have to help them since she had gotten them into it. Well, at least Alize. Aranion had been the first to be a part of it.
"What do you think of 'Chastity' as her name?" The elf nodded, looking from her map to Alize. "Yes, I think it suits her well." She smiled brightly, and went back to poring over her map.
