K A L I ;; animal i have become
She sat upon the rock, her long raven black hair blowing in the wind. She tilted her head upwards, glad that the large trees blocked out most of the sunlight. She ran her tongue across her blood stained fangs that poked through her gums. She sighed as she ran her long white fingers through her hair, which reached below her butt, reaching just above her knees. She took a deep breath closing her eerie deep red eyes and tried to think for a moment. She wasn’t sure why she was here. She had been walking around for days, and she ended up here. It made her sick to her stomach, for she could sense the good aroma linger in the forest. She hated goodness; it made her want to throw up. She turned her head around; she did not fit in with this forest. Her pale skin and black dress did not fit in with the vivid forest of the dying leaves. She wore a dress that showed a little much cleave and ran all the way down to her ankles. It fit tightly to her body except it fanned out a bit where it could twist around her naked ankles. She gently pushed herself off the rock and looked around. She wasn’t sure what direction to go.
Kali was the name she was born with, and she loathed it with a deep passion. Many probably would not understand how one could dislike their name. But to her, it brought back memories that she did not even want to begin to think about. It made her remember her sisters, whom she hated, about her lost love Kaige, and even about her daughter whom she had not seen in who knows how long. Kali shook her head. There was no point in worrying now. She and Kaige were together when he died, but she still held on to the past, she still fret every day that he would leave her, she deserved it though. She deserved every rotten thing that was thrown at her, and that is what happened. They were probably not pleased with her, the Gods, for they took him away from her. Tore out what heart she had and threw it into the grave with him. Leaving her all alone in the world…all alone…why should she care in the first place? She was used to being alone. She knew she was not wanted no where, and she liked it that way. She would roam the rest of her life alone, feeding off pathetic weaklings.
Kali is what you would call a cruel beauty. There was no denying the fact of her beauty, which surpassed most. Her long silky dark hair, the way it shines a dark burble and blue color when the light hits it perfectly. The way she holds her body with grace and pride as she walks through the forest, as if she owned it, as if she owned all. Her pale complexion which was perfect for her. She wasn’t tan, but she didn’t look like a freakin’ ghost. Though her cold dark eyes and the twisted smirk upon her face caused most to stay clear away from her, for she almost looked insane. Before, she took advantage of her looks, luring men into the night having fun with them, before biting them. Though she threw that all away several years ago, she didn’t even like to think about the way she used to be. Kaige accepted her though; even when he found out her deadly secret, he stayed with her…then she betrayed him. She always messed it up. She never could be happy for very long, for it was not meant to be.
“Stupid curse,” she mumbled to herself. She was a vampire, which much was certain, but there was something odd about her. You see, she was a vampire, with a soul. That means unlike other ‘evil’ creatures she was filled with remorse and regret and even could fall in love. She wanted to be evil, though. She rarely thought about her victims, whom she ended up killing most of the time. However, she could feel the deep wrenching pain of fallen in love and having your heart broken. That is the reason she hates everyone evil. Because she is deadly jealous. They can kill without feeling an empty feeling afterward. They were lucky. She was stuck like this until the day she died, and she couldn’t even bring herself to kill herself. She was pathetic.
She took a deep breath as she began to walk through the forest. Daylight did not affect her. She did not like it, and was more sensitive to the light then others and it gave her a headache. But unlike in story tails she did not ‘burn up’ and vanish when the sun touched her skin. She was not like that, and she often found it amusing when others were surpised she could walk in daylight. She was not bond to the night. Don't get her wrong, she loved the darkness, she loved everything about it. She hated the daylight, but that was the easiest time to get a free meal. Kali licked her dry lips, as she wandered through the forest, debating if she should stay or should she go. She had just fed so she was not hungry, she was rather bored though. "Hmm, what to do..." she whispered to herself as she ran her hand down a tree trunk, a frown flickered across her red lips.

Erynn:: THE [SiLVER] LiNiNG iN MY CLOUD WAS RiPPED OUT LONG AGO...
The elf smiled at the camp she had just finished. A tent, baisically invisble in the greenery around it. With a last adjustment, she pranced to the river rushing relentlessly nearby. Her reflection was seen, but distorted by the liquid. Fixing her this hair back in a french braided fashion, she tucked a haw's feather and two other feathers she had found in the braid. The three feathers stood out from her flame-colored hair. They were various greys and blacks; rotating with the curve of her skull. A sudden thump, and in a heartbeat she stood, blade drawn as she started to access the magic inside of her. With a loud sigh, she rolle dher eyes at the ivory steed infront of her. The magnificent white friesian shook his long and cascading mane, brown eyes peering up at Erynn.
"Oh, Aiedail..." she sung, the elve's sword was lowered, and she sheathed the blade quickly. The stallion snorted, then reared, screeching as he lunged past her. A snow leopard quickly bounded into a tree, jumping back down on the equine. Erynn's laughter trilled through the nearby forest, the two unmatched animals wrestling playfully. It was nearly dusk, the sun getting ever closer to the horizon. Twisting around and bounding through the forest again, she picked up small sticks and two logs. Slowing her pace, the bark was cracking and falling to the ground, wich bothered her for some reason. Shaking ehr head at her ludicrious thoughts she set them down, neatly commanding "Brsingr!" at the pile. It was suddenly engulfed in flames before fading to a slight glow, just enough for her companions' comforts.
With a hasty goodbye, the maiden danced through the forest, humming and fingering her hair. the feathers stayed put, but some of the tassles fell down to her shoulders, wich didn't bother her. Doing caprioles and shaceys (sp?) along the way. She was headed to a small patch of berries. But something caught her attention. a voice, not that of a human. It was to fine, but not an elves either. She followed it, and heard it again. Slowly easing around a tree, she saw the maiden. blödh wiol adurna...(blood for water) she thought... she didn't know why, but the thought sprang though her. Soemthing about the femme was different... she'd have to hear the voice again to be sure.

Kali paused in her steps, sensing someone coming closer. A frown came upon her lips as she ran her white fingers through her long hair, which twirled around her legs. She figured she would be all alone in this forest, even though she was dangerously close to where the elves lived. She still wasn’t sure how she gotten this far without being spotted. She believed she wasn’t welcomed for she and the elves were polar opposites. They were kind and tried to help others – while she couldn’t wait to dig her fangs into necks and drink their blood. Just the thought sent a chill down her spine. She tilted her head to the side as she tried to find who she sensed through the thickness of the forest, but saw none. For a moment she believed she was just imagining things. Perhaps it was just the wind that rustled a few leaves or perhaps it was a lone creature scurrying through the forest. She had a good sense of hearing and smelling as well as sight, she highly doubted that, for she knew only one creature beside herself who would lurk within the forest. An Elf.
“Come forth child of the forest,” Kali called out. She figured it was an elf, which probably sensed Kali or was too afraid to show her. Kali folded her arms across her chest and frowned. She didn’t have time to mingle around some childish elf that wouldn’t come forth. Perhaps she is here, to tell me to leave. Even if she doesn’t know I’m a vampire yet, she soon will figure it out. She is only luck I am full and am not in the mood to face a whole tribe of tree hugging freaks. Of course she would keep these opinions to herself, especially being so close to their home. She wasn’t foolish. She would mock them behind heir backs, and in front of their faces – if they were alone. She began to walk forward, to where she had sensed the creature. If the elf wasn’t going to show herself, then Kali might as well show herself to her. It did not take her long to find the lone elf. Kali smirked when she saw her, leaning against the tree. She was behind the Elf, and did not speak for several moments as her eyes flickered over the forest. If Kali wasn’t the way she was, if she was a human, she would believe this elf to be quite stunning, then again so were all elves. Kali however, didn’t even take one glance at her appearance.
“You know, it’s dangerous to wander alone in the forest,” Kali said with a raised brow as she kept leaning against the tree, taking a deep breath. Her crimson red eyes never leaving the elf for a moment. She didn’t trust them; then again, she didn’t trust anyone. She was a loner. Why should she trust anyone, except for herself? She needed no one and no one needed her. That was the way things worked in life, and that was the way vampires were. They stayed hidden within the darkness, only coming out when they wanted to feed, even staying away from others of their own kind. Of course Kali already had broken those unspoken laws. For she was in the middle of the day, in an eleven home, speaking to an elf. Kali closed her eyes, even when trying to be like other vampires, she kept on being different. Perhaps she was really the problem after all. She both loathed and was jealous of those of her own kind. They were true vampires, lurking within the shadows, when most of them in fact could venture into the daylight. Kali shook her head, waiting for the elf to reply to her.

Erynn:: THE [SiLVER] LiNiNG iN MY CLOUD WAS RiPPED OUT LONG AGO...
>The elf knew that she shouldn't be around such a creature. The very cells of her flesh were screaming not to even speak another word. She stood, muscles coiled, as the vampress gave her command. no. she thought, but Erynn knew it would be unwise to speak in such a manner. With a swift motion, she leaped up; grabbing the lowest branch on an ancient elm tree, leaping up a few branches higher. Now, she knew the vampress would know what she was. her motions were too smooth and lithe to be a human, or even vampire for that matter. She simply looked too comfortable in the tree.
>looking down to the vampress, she bounded back down the tree. Each hand placement and footplacement perfectly on target. She landed without a sound. Her knees bent with the momentum; her left palm fingering the grass. her right palm caressing the leather sheath on her hip. She stood slowly, as Arya sensed her mood. you alright? Arya asked her master. Erynn's reply was swift, yes. But why don't you stop by, accompany me? The werecat tried to argue, but erynn stopped her form doing so. please my companion? And the werecat then recieved a picture of Erynn's location. >the werecat padded softly and silently along. She soon felt Erynn's presence; along with another. Reachign out with her mind, she cooly asked the vampress Do you mean my friend and I harm? Sorry to intrude your mind, dear vampress. But i have seen your kind before and i can feel your prescence. For you will see what i am soon. and with that, the werecat opened her mind just enough for the vampress to reply; if she could.

Kali paused, placing a hand upon a nearby tree. She felt the mind enter her mind before it spoke. She had somewhat knowledge when it came to mind reading, she had learned to block her mind, but she was curious to see if it who it was that dare to enter her mind. She was wrong. Kali frowned at the words. What would she do of Kali said yes? Of course she wasn’t. She wasn’t idiotic enough to attack an elf, even if she was alone. She remained silent, turning her eyes to look at the tree. A frown flickered across her maw. She was still wondering why she was here and now she was wondering if she should answer to who was ever talking to her. She sighed deeply; she assumed it would be better then doing nothing.
Maybe, maybe not, I doubt it. I’m not foolish, friend of the one who is born from the forest. I know there is others, nearby. For their sent is strong within this forest. She turned her cold eyes back upon the elf. She pushed herself off the tree and began to take a few steps forward, her long dark hair gracefully moving behind her. Although elves might have been graceful in every movement, Kali walked as if this was her forest not there’s. “Afraid to speak for yourself? That is very sad.” She said with a snort and a shake of her head.
